We're really lucky in Banbury to have so many fantastic local businesses to support, we want to highlight as many as possible so people can really see what Banbury has to offer, so we're visiting local businesses who want to be featured, taking a little video and then talking about them!
Rustic Bean Coffee House
Rustic Bean Coffee House on Parsons Street in the heart of Old Banbury Town is such a lovely place to grab a coffee and experience excellent service. We're really lucky to have so many independent shops, cafés and restaurants in the local area - it really adds to the appeal, and it's so lovely to be able to support so many small, local businesses right on the doorstep.
If you go for a little wander, you'll also find Rustic Bean Juice'd in Lock 29...
Lock 29
Lock 29 is one of Banbury's newest additions. It's actually the site of the old British Home Stores - for those of you who already know the area and can remember. It's now packed full of new eateries and we're really spoilt for delicious choice! Watch our short video to see what you can find there...
The Artery
If you like to indulge your creative side, The Artery is the place to go. It's a 'small but perfectly formed art shop and education centre in the heart of Banbury' and you can pick up art supplies, as well as sign up to classes to unleash some of that creativity. They cater for everyone from the casual hobbyist, to the enthusiastic artist. And when you're done stocking up with canvases and paints, you can visit the Café for refreshment, and to soak up the lovely atmosphere.
Taquero
A vibrant, colourful joy bringing a little taste of Mexico to Banbury, Taqueto was born out of the pandemic - to learn more about why and how, read their story here. But seriously, you should definitely visit, we can personally recommend their absolutely scrummy burritos!
Saltway Farm Shop
Another independent business, Saltway Farm Shop sell everything from fresh veggies to animal and garden supplies. It's just a really nice place to go for a wander and get all those bits you didn't know you needed. Visit their website to find out more about what they do seasonally, too.
Come and take a quick wander round with us:
Reg's Café
All of their ingredients wherever possibel are sourced locally, there's a lovely friendly atmosphere, and despite being founded in 2013 as a 'hidden gem', it's not so secret anymore with an army of local fans who visit again and again. A real Banbury must-visit!
If you have a Banbury business or know of one you think would love to be featured, please get in touch with us - we love recommendations too, and want to make sure we get to visit as many businesses in the local area as we possibly can!
